Janine Steiner Jovanovic

Janine delivers corporate strategy solutions to leading real estate investment, management and technology firms. In addition to sitting on several boards and investing in multifamily in the Dallas area, Janine is currently serving as Chief Growth Officer for Middleburg.

Before launching her advisory firm in 2015, Janine was Executive Vice President of Asset Optimization at RealPage, where she oversaw the company’s revenue management, data analytics, risk management and leasing solutions. She was instrumental in incubating RealPage from its inception and in taking the company public in 2010.

Prior to joining RealPage, Janine was Senior Vice President for multifamily pioneer JPI, where she evolved the company’s infrastructure to support rapid growth and expansion, including a comprehensive overhaul of all systems, business practices and organizational structure.

Before JPI, Janine was Senior Manager in KPMG’s Real Estate Consulting practice, working with prominent real estate and technology firms to maximize results through business transformation, facilitated by innovative technology, process and workforce redesign.

Janine launched her career as a pioneer in PropTech, founding the first commercially available asset management system for multifamily.

She holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and an M.A. from the University of Toronto. She also lectures at SMU’s Cox School of Business.
