A PRIVATELY HELD RETAILER
A $20 billion, 75-year-old privately held retailer was struggling to make progress toward their strategy. They had multiple stakeholders involved in corporate governance leading to competing priorities and confusion. They were losing market share to competitors who were more agile, more streamlined, and had larger balance sheets.
They came to us for help, and within the first 90 days, we ratified 6 strategic objectives and began executing them in 90-day sprints with buy-in from owners and investors. We cascaded our OKR Spring Methodology as a new steering mechanism for all major initiatives and worked hand-in-hand with them for two years helping them to execute their plans, developing a crisis toolkit to help them navigate the Covid-19 crisis, and teaching them how to continue the momentum on their own.
